I don't know that I feel that AI is the end of the world for art or for anything. Artists will continue to make art. There will be shifts to society and jobs because of AI. I worry about my job. It is not at risk now, but someday I could be replaced. The knowledge and experience to know when AI is lying or hallucinating is going to be very important. I hope that artists are treated fairly, though I am sure it will take a fight. I enjoy playing with AI, having it write things or create pictures for fun. It is definitely improving.
