The thing is we artists are getting affected pretty badly by AI one way or another... That admin's intention was good, I hope they keep doing that, indeed, but I'd have gone to more lengths in checking the proof. Now, if the artist didn't have sketches (not sure about that detail of the story), neither having saved different versions as he progressed in the project... Then too bad. We need to do both things from now on, to demonstrate authenticity. This can slow us down when we're already "too slow" to compete with someone that has not spent years, blood and tears in getting the skills, who will be just typing a sentence. Another great gift from the "lovely" AI. Once it starts destroying other jobs left and right is when society will react, tho.
