I work in production analysis and process improvement. Most employees in that field don't last very long because they aren't crafty and insightful enough. We've started integrating AI. It's good to accelerate some of the work but the AI makes a lot of mistakes. It also tends to act like the worst analysts: churning numbers only to spot out obvious facts. No insights. I'm a data scientist with an AI research background. What I see in most industries isn't AI outperforming humans. It's companies lowering their standards because AI is cheap.
