Also keep in mind that at the point where 90% of population is unemployed due to being replaced by automation and ai, the 1% will no doubt have access to, basically, fully automatic killer robots to enforce "peace". It's already trivially easy to build a system which detects human silhouettes and aims a firearm towards them, that's like 2 or 3 steps away from a fully functional robotic riot police, at which point it's impossible to mount any kind of revolution or unrest or even protest.
