It just takes a change in mindset. And hopefully that will happen but I know that America ( mostly) will absolutely hate it. If people don’t have work you just pay them a universal allowance. Money for nothing basically… and it doesn’t have to be money , as that’s fairly being getting rid off. So we have a digital account and we get told how much we have. Basics are free, health , education, electricity, Wi-Fi etc. you have enough money to “get by” and if you want extra credits then you find specialised jobs that need “humans”, you don’t have to, it’s your choice. You can just follow whatever passion or hobby you have.
This was always the vision of the future from my young days (back in the 1960’s) telling us in the future we would have so much leisure time it would be difficult to actually fill time but what happened was instead of upping your wage slightly and giving you less hours, the bosses worked you harder and harder whereas they should have went back to less but that flies in the face of capitalism.
