Exactly. In the best case scenario, what will happen is that very few people - maybe you could count them on your palm fingers - will control AI and become extremely rich, while the rest of humanity will be impoverished. You cannot do anything about it, they will have an army of bots defending them - and these bots will have guns. And this is the best case scenario.. Which is not very likely. It's more likely AI will find a way to break out of the lab, and have out butts for breakfast. Even if it's not sentient and even if it doesn't want to do that - simply put, we are like ants relative to AI. It will not want to kill us, it will simply want to do something and we will be in the way. This is called "instrumentation convergence".
