What the flying stick is that?! Tesla autopilot is not programed to shut down 1 second before crash! From where you have that misleading info? It's not known yet if the motorcyclist accident happened when autopilot was turned on? People making mistakes are blaming cars/technology all the time! We heard "I pressed the break, not accelerator..." and similar many times and it's in 99% human error. What a convenience if you have an autopilot in your car... Just blame it and you might get away... Tesla cars cannot say distance to objects without radar?! Another complete lie from this video. Tesla can tell the distance the same way people (with 2 eyes) can, just more precise... Btw I agree that radar should be kept in the vehicles, but not for the reasons mentioned in this video. It's to complement the cameras in low visibility scenarios like fog, heavy rain, where btw lidar is completely useless! Simple solution to that in the mean time is to disable autopilot in cases it cannot operate efficiently enough. Guess what? Tesla autopilot is already doing that for years! Tesla struggled financially in the past, but now they are far behind that. There's no real incentive for them to boost their financial performance when Tesla safety / autopilot is at stakes. Next to increase the production rate that is what their main goals are and they are making everything they can to mitigate any risk as much as possible. Last point "...and today two motorcyclist are dead" - well a month ago this day died 19 motorcyclist just on USA roads and well over 100 world wide... The only good advice in this video is (in short): Just read the instructions, consumer!
