If you can't define intelligence you can't create it. A dictionary stores words but it has no memory. A text editor can access an electronic dictionary in a flash but it has no comprehension. We can make these things because we can define them.
If you ask an AI how it is today it will never say "a bit off". If ask an AI who it barracks for in the NFL it won't pick a lowly team. It exists nowhere an it sees, smells or feels nothing. To be intelligent you have to be alive.
