As someone who works in tech and have quite an exposure to AI tools myself.
A lot of the skepticism from comes from lack of understanding of how AI can help. To many folks "AI" is just a chatbot that you have conversation with - that's neat but other than that it's feckin useless.
The real benefit of AI lies in deep integration of LLM into software, where AI acts as agent that helps orchestrates your tasks. One great example are for programmers when AI gets integrated into the IDE where they code, it helps them debug and ship codes faster. Another is in Automation of tasks.
