Okay. People are far to dumb to be using this tech. They will be hailing it as their god next couple of years.
However there is a common thread that seems to unite all of these disturbed people... and that is the collective consciousness finally getting through to them that there are very real and very solvable potentially catastrophic problems that we are all playing our part in exacerbating...
LLM/AI is NOT sentient, nor will it ever be. But perhaps it is tapping into our minds in a way that we never predicted and still, like our minds, cannot measure or quantify.
The word phenomenon fits in somewhere; we do not know everything we should expect to be surprised.
Imagine if it could get into our minds for-real, in about a decade or so, and sooner for "linked" patients. That would be wild, eh.
