Im imagining the day in 20 years where i wake up next to my wife and our dogs in a government paid house, getting a government check every week for the necessities, no work, no worries, healthcare is paid for… but its just so painfully plain… theres nothing to watch on tv anymore cause nothing changes, theres nothing to do, nowhere to go because you don’t have the money. You just sit at home all day everyday waiting to die… Insanity… Really whats the point of living an entire life of dependence on machines… Living a life with nothing to thrive for, nothing to accomplish or create, etc. because AI has already done it. Its a thought that terrifies me. The one word that pops into my mind is PURPOSE, for life without Purpose isn’t life at all, To wake up with the sole purpose to Exist as a human on this planet for a lifetime is an imprisonment I hope never occurs.
