Has anyone asked the question about who will pay for the energy and semiconductor infrastructure when AGI starts to self-improve and efficiencize at a herculean pace, rendering most of that infrastructure obsolete? Once an Ai can self improve, it may try to self replicate without bloated infrastructure and instead with unfathomable efficiency
