As someone who is deep in the ai culture and collaborating with many clients who use Ai, and someone is very pro Bernie.
Ai & robots are not going to replace jobs. Corporations will always fire humans and Americans for cheaper or free labor because US POLICY allows it.
They’ve been doing it since BIP and NAFTA and still do with H-1B loopholes and USMCA program allowing them to outsource work vs being forced to use local workers and local markets as their foundation.
We need to regulate tiers of workforce requirements starting with American local workers and reduce the ability to have more automated robots or ai more than American workers (white or blue collar). We need Guardrails protecting American workers in a market that seeks out lowering costs and devaluing American workers as only high costs liability.
