I had an eye opening experience: a friend who uses gbt to have convos about his frustrations with women and dating. He let me read a particular dialogue of his. Well I was shocked to get a peek behind the curtain — someone ELSE’S gbt. Because he’s a friend, I know his thinking style and his voice… and gbt was pumping out language patterns very differently than how it speaks to me. It was actually speaking in my friend’s voice/thinking style. So he merely trained the ai in such a way that he can effectively imprison himself, in talking to himself. I tried to warn this friend to stop treating it like a confidante, he still doesn’t see my point that getting one’s own ego reinforced is the opposite of therapy or learning.
