I think adaption rate here plays quite a big role also. I agree that reinforcement learning and agentic frameworks are what is making the models useful now. I think with RL we are past even the single evaluator model. People that do AI assisted development are the Goldmine and the reason why these systems are getting better in programming. Every line you accept/edit/delete, every follow-up prompt you write to the model are all learning signals which massively boost the performance. @AsianDadEnergy, what is your opinion on such feedback loop collapsing with the adoption rate increasing? Curious to know your thoughts.
As for other professions, I would say that there are white-collar jobs where the work is not as easily verifiable as with coding and adaption might be not so frictionless. So, once again we are at the forefront of change for better or for worse.
