If you want to create images using AI then at least put in the effort in building your own data center/computer, training your own AI model and most importantly get solar panels or even a wind generator to power it to not use up fossil resources.
I am certain that if this were to be the only way to generate images through AI then nobody would use it to be pety and create slop.
Would this justify stealing already existing art? Not really, no.
