I’m so glad you touched this topic! Without knowing, I have always talked to my AI with polite words like “please” and “thank you”. I even go farther and express just how excited I am about certain responses or answers. I have been using AI to learn just about everything I’ve ever wanted to know about any and everything. I’m almost overwhelming my brain with information, which has then prompted me to turn around and create apps in order to, not only consume all this new information, but then to turn around and create an app with the new info and create a way to implement it in my life. I feel like I’m taking my self through college all over again. If being polite is costing more money, then the AI companies need to take some advice from their own users, which include well educated doctors! The smartest in the world! Use your own tools to then cut some costs where costs can be cut, but losing kindness should not be one!!! Being polite is an absolute must! Haven’t we lost enough human connection after COVID?! These companies need to take their heads out of their ass and realize when in a position of power like AI is and will become even more powerful, let’s go in the right direction! Bring good etiquette back!!! We need more NICE people!!!
