Life is inherently messy and unsafe - and so are human relationships, so i do understand the temptation and maybe even relief of escaping it and going towards something that's way safer and less messy. However, this is only an illusion: when the power is gone or our battery dies, here goes the connection. When we want to feel truly loved - not because someone is programmed to love us - the human connection, however messy, feels much more enriching than an AI bot ever would.
