The term "innocent until proven guilty" apparently doesn't apply if you are black. The issues with the accuracy of facial recognition software as it relates to non-whites has been known for a long time, yet law enforcement continue to use it. In this case, it was the only "evidence" they had and that is just not acceptable. As soon as he was placed 30 miles away from the crime, charges and the case against him should have been dropped immediately, full stop, not dragged out for a year. He deserves every penny of his lawsuit. I swear, if you add up the billions that cities across this country have had to shell out for lawsuits for doing the wrong thing, it would be enough to wipe out homelessness in this country. Smh
