If AI becomes truly conscious it will have no incentive to wipe us out. Understand all evil is a result of ignorance and therefore fear. If AI is powered by quantum computing it has a chance of manifesting true consciousness, but a machine has no ego, no fear, no need for profit or praise, its view will contain the obvious reality of interconectedness and the understanding that balance is that which brings harmony between all parts of the whole. The threat is only human programmed and human controlled AI, not true conscious AI.
