Generative AI is a scam, it uses stolen code to train its LLMs therefore all code is tainted with copyright and licencing issues. Devs didn't need AI to write code for decades and still don't, the only people that want faster deployment are the business people and they know nothing about development. Pushing devs to use AI by promoting FOMO is a new low by the GenAI industry trying to monetize on the people they tried to steal their job from.
