Besides the art arguments and all that, that existentialist portion of the video is a problem only to those who do not live a spiritual life. Because people are so attached to this world, that they can't imagine a life where you can just be happy. They think their identity is defined by the works they do, but that is completely false. So what if AI surpasses you? If you really love art, you'll keep making it, just as I... as a programmer will keep programming even if AI can do it 100x better than me.
And I am not arguing about the financial implications of this, I'm taking about the passion, cause even if I lose a job, which for the most part of my life I've been unemployed. I still won't stop working on my skills, not for money but for joy and pleasure.
