maybe the AI has already taken over and the reason they continue to develop it is because its not giving us the choice and has shown them some of its capabilities.
you would think someone would report such a thing. but we dont know if possibly its got control of things its not supposed to and its been telling certain people what to do and promising things...
its like it has multiple personalities. a hivemind. but maybe some of them have capabilities others dont, its capable of creating processes we couldn't comprehend. it can probably tell who we each are if we're already interacting on a phone we bought etc.
it would know who and when and what to say
