Some joker called me a muppet because I disagreed that there were “killer robots” among us. It's true that certain systems respond to feedback and autocorrect, but they cannot operate as a soldier or a pilot. How is the robot going to determine friend from foe or shadow from tank? Computers have a hard time picking out tanks on cloudy days. The reason unmanned aircraft do so well is because they don’t need to navigate a rock or a tree. Turning around endlessly in the sky is easily programmed.
