Frankly, I havent seen the entire vid, but 20 min in and a glance at the future topics it looks like you've missed a huge point and ignored it for the benefit of your own argument:
"[AI's not going to do everything] I only want it to do that thing right now."
Then it will be controlled by a company that has successfully trained it to predict what any person wanted from the get-go and everything they will ever want it to do ('impossible' now, but extremely attainable to anyone with spare time) now it only does essentially enough to make the layman pay for it's existence. Most will be fine with it but eventually it replaces the majority of production of society solely due to improvement in efficiency. The rest must replace the jobs displaced due to AI within a few years but the skill is not 1-to-1 so an influx of unskilled labor increases and more competition is beget from the destruction of jobs that were once well paying.
