What if our biggest problem is actually because we are in rush all the time? Geoffrey spent his whole life rushing to create AI, and now he realizes where it has led him. And now he says that humanity is in danger because he was in such a hurry in life. Oppenheimer rushed to create the atomic bomb, and then was shocked by his “brainchild.” How many more events must occur because someone is rushing to accomplish something? Perhaps it is indeed time to slow down and allow events to simply unfold, rather than attempting to pursue revolutions?
