My partner and i are both disabled artists and AI is definitely not helpful to us! we hate it. If anything it's detrimental since art may be one of few ways we can make an income for ourselves so if AI starts taking our art and taking away pay for our art, we're gonna suffer for that. A lot of us can't just get an office/factory job to make up the difference. Getting on disability can take several years and doesn't pay much, it's hard to live on and we're constantly under scrutiny and stress over it, we're not even allowed to save money freely. It's not enough to say "just go on disability then" or some such thing. Plus we already struggle so much to be listened to about anything, especially our real struggles, this is just another way to pave over our voices.
