AI will replace a lot of jobs, and that can be a good thing if we handle it the right way. The goal should not be to enrich a handful of companies. The goal should be to free people from endless labor so they can actually live.
If AI can cover the basics food, shelter, education then more people can rise into the higher parts of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. More time for purpose, creativity, and meaning. That is the point of progress.
But this only works if AI is built for people. AI without people has no purpose. People without AI still do. If we use this technology only as a profit machine, we waste the most powerful opportunity in human history.
AI should be used to lift humanity, not replace its value.
