Building a very data intensive application with cursor. Its amazing on how quickly you can build pieces of thr system but its sooooo ai slop. Scripts and slop everywhere when I ask it to test it dumps trash test scripts. I have to spend so much time trying to get the damn thing to add modularity so the code is clean and organized. It fucking slows down development t so much. Code never organized doesn’t follow explicit hierarchy of rules half the time.
Tried to use mastra ai to build agents to
Monitor optimize and refactor absolute joke. Spent so much time trying to train it just to manage my change logs and its done absolute dogshit price and even with 04mini or Gemini flash and u can see how quickly costs could get out of hand just for basic monitoring refactoring and health.
