21:30 AI is NOT an unusual technology! Its the most basic mathematic! Its a number times another number plus another number - DONE. Chain that a lot of times behind each other and wiggle the 2nd and third number so long, until the resulting number comes close to what you want to see if you put a specific number in the beginning. THATS LITTERALLY IT. An "AI model" is just a list of all those 2nd and third numbers after you wiggled them. THAT - IS - LITTERALLY - EVERYTHING. "But how about pictures and words?" - You turn the words into numbers. Its called "tokenizing" and is like A=1, B=2, C=3 but with combinations of letters. And for pixels you just use the Red, Green and Blue value of every pixels. Its always the same: Turn your data into numbers -> multiply it with a second number -> add a third number -> have a result. Wiggle the 2nd and third number until the result seems right. DONE. THATS AI. All that conversational fluff from Sam Altman is just a false flag strawman against privately hosted AIs to maintain the control over it with lobby/law enforcement. *Nothing else is this!* He is not afraid - except that is company is worthless in a few months, since private programmers are starting to outperform his company already with <1% of his wiggling/training data. He acts feared, so people become frightened and make them self dependent, thinking the only way to cope with the power is giving it all to a lobby driven monopoly. This is the same game of power and control, that is played again and again against the citizens. Cause fear - offer the solution (exercising power over it) - have control and cause more fear if people question it. War, Weed and now processing of information (nothing else is AI).
