When I use AI image generators I like to think of making an image as "discovering" it rather than "creating" it. There is a finite (all be it very big) amount of possible images and I'm looking for a specific one that is similar to what I imageine but can never be the same. On the ohter hand, when I spend days in Blender creating a scene, making depth mapsand the sort to use as a basis for my AI image, I do feel I'm collaborating with the image generator and I would call it a creative process.
