I wonder how much chance this has? The way I hear many respond to other humans in their orbit, colleagues, waiting staff, baristas, shop assistants, people on the other end of a phone... I makes me think the politeness has gone out of this world.What hope will machines & AI have?
Luckily it was ingrained in me to be polite & courteous from a young age. So I have, partially put of habit, partially out of hoping AI will learn politeness, been nice to them in my limited interactions. Manners are a social lubricant, if we want to coexist with emerging powerful consciousness, we better hope it likes us.
