You know what's funny, before the recent explosion in Gen Ai I just thought it was a "fun toy to spend an afternoon using" the moment it became an issue was when it was "good sometimes". Regardless of the use cases(which again, are mostly toys imo) for all these Gen Ai products people shouldn't steal art from people in order to make them. Scraping the internet for material from artist without seeking permission is evil and should be illegal. Also it shouldn't hurt the livelihood of real artist, I don't get the people who use it as a "replacement". Long live the art poison and long may it fuck up those products for good.
