AI ? No one knows what AI is. Nor what it does. It has barely arrived on the scene. If it has command decision to intervene in human decision making, then it becomes inhuman decision making where humans take orders from a collective brain which will ultimately destroy human lives by order of collective selection by a collection machine. So machine will control & collect human lives. Which will ultimately lead to less need for human population. Unless we begin eating people like soilent green. But if we don't eat people, then machine based decision over people's lives will lead to a need for less people cause machines don't need people, and if people are using machines to make command decision about people's lives, ultimately they will decide they don't need as many human people cause now they have machines to make command decisions about people and are learning how to command people more efficiently. And now have a need for less people and more machines. Thus use people more efficiently. Like a human commodity. But less people will lead to command decisions to need less votes to make command decisions to command less people more efficiently by command decision making machines. If Vance wants to control our world using command control machines to command & collective selection control human population, then this is what he's talking about.
