The sad thing is people have been doing things like this, even without AI, for years. like 10 years ago now probably, one of my high school classmates was suspended (not even expelled, suspended) and had his iPad/tablet taken away because he had (supposedly, I never saw the photos only heard the story and the outcome but he definitely had always been a little bit of a creep) photos of his female classmates edited onto the bodies of naked women. Idk if he did it for....personal use or if he had other plans but i was so disturbed because I used to be an acquaintance (not really by choice, one of my good friends at the time hung out with him) and I have no idea if I was one of the people or not.
My heart goes out to all the victims, no one deserves to be blackmailed in that way. How would the perpetrators feel if THEY were the ones who were being edited, humiliated and blackmailed??
