autistic and potentially adhd artist here who has experienced both drawing traditionally/digitally and using ai to generate art, i can confidently say that ai brought me absolutely zero happiness, i typed a sentence into a textbox and hit the enter key. i was not even brought a little bit of enjoyment. i stopped doing that within the day i started.
drawing humanly, however, i've been doing for years. why? because it's *fun!!!* i run out of motivation quite quickly due to my neurodivergence, but i still draw bc it brings me genuine enjoyment. it's so amazing to see other people's creations, and also my own pieces improve overtime. sure, it's a long process, and i'm always learning still, but that's just more inspirational and incredible for me!
it's not all just about efficiency or it looking good. the whole process is a part of it. not just the end result.
