One of the other things about ai from someone who studies computer science, there are very much use cases for ai, especially in medicine and research, as well as processing mass amounts of data that it would be impossible for humans to do quickly. But the thing about ai is by it's very nature is statistical, and can produce sloppy, factually inaccurate results. A thing that most people don't realise is that people and companies are trying to cram ai into everything, and in a place where something that an information system would suffice, especially for things that have known factors. I think the appeal of ai on mass is that you can ask for what you want and even if it's neshe it can always give you the answer, but something that would probably be better is like some of the study ai's that help you understand the provided material and can point you to the specific sections, one actual good use of ai wouldn't be training it on data so that it could generate different images and text but do so so it can effectively point you to actual art, pictures and writing so that you can support the actual creatives that put in the work, more and more people are online these days, people shouldn't have to only be able to talk to a machine just because they don't know how to reach the right community
