Im actually not that worried. Ai can't really interact with old systems effectively. So take home repairs for example, if you had a structure built by robots to be robot servicable then I can absolutely see a world where tradefolk are replaced by autonomous repair bots powered by ai. But in reality, we all live in homes made my man, a ai isn't going to climb up some winding stairs to a leaky toilet and be able to diagnose and remedy the problem, just too much novelty in the way plumbing could be building layout access materials used etc etc.
Moreover, if we live in a world where robots with a capacity to take jobs like those and be accessible to joe blogs at a cost cheaper than a local blue collar dude, then I think we can all hang our tools up and hit the beach as ai efficiency accessible to all, means the entire working for a living concept would no longer exist.
