Raw LLM Responses

Ok first of all it's LLM and not AI but anyways: As a programmer who can't draw for shit I too am shocked at how people who know nothing about my field of interest are championing a technology they know nothing about. Even though I can't draw, mostly because it's never interested me much, I've never seen AI as something I'd want to use to draw, because the shitty sketches I draw are mine, and I'd rather go through the effort of manually building the (low poly) thing in blender to describe what I want than to ask the art theft machine to make some fucked up amalgam that looks nothing like I imagined it in my head. And with programming, if you talk with people who work in real companies in high places, they'll tell you that the most they use it for is brainstorming, because you don't want to get sued for using someone else's code the AI just decided to steal... somehow. And even then, while AI can steal the solution from stackoverflow that you can just copy yourself anyways, it cannot think of anything "new", meaning that its useless for anything that isnt a ripoff clone startup. It's all just investor hype, though I don't necessarily blame corpos for getting the bag, considering the average person sees it as a crock of shit, and it can be actually useful as a teaching tool if trained correctly and with actual, robust mathematical code it can rely on to create arguments off of, at least for like, up to uni stuff (though Gemini can do basic uni-grade math pretty well). Still, unlike crypto or non functioning testicles (NFTs), the underlying LLM and neural network tech this is based on have a use, so I have no doubts that it will stick around in some ways... I just hope it's going to be in the "helps people learn" and not the "tells people to eat rocks, glue & helps people steal & cheat" way that it's mostly used as now.
