Been using chatGPT for a few days now...and its actually kind of addicting.
I have existing addiction issues and as such i recognise the signs of addiction acutely.
Tasks flow together seemlessly, the natural stopping points for food and drink and rest...seem to disappear and you can very quickly lose track of time.
This is actually quite scary... Ive not been this engaged with a technology since i moved from ps2 to ps4 in one big jump...i spent literal DAYS playing before taking a suitable break...
A similar thing happened when i got home broadband for the first time as a single man living alone...
These systems need a "take a break" reminder that pops up after 6 hours of continuous use or some kind of boot function that kicks users off after so many hours forcing them to step away for a few moments at least.
