If you only hear one AI written poem, it sounds impressive. But if you read several of them , you start to realize they all have a sameness. It always chooses a simplistic meter and rhyme scheme, much like a childrens book. The imagery is reused from poem to poem, I think teachers will (or already have) learned to recognize the style of AI writing.
