I'm pretty sure my job is AI-proof. Like, completely. Right now, it can barely help me do stuff - it's way too stoopid and doesn't really understand what I'm working with, even with a lot enough context. At the same time, an AI that's so advanced that it can actually do 100% of my job for me will be SO expensive, that the company will absolutely never afford it. I myself am underpaid, and my company is not well off either - human labor is going to be much cheaper and therefore profitable to them.
And no, I absolutely do not have hope that this kind of advanced AI will EVER be more affordable than someone like me. There is just absolutely no way that'll ever be true - advanced AI can't be cheap to sustain, and therefore it can't be cheap to sell. And we're still in a capitalistic society, and the trend is only increasing from here, so there is no way that advanced AI like that is going to be for free in any realistic future.
And well, there is the fact that my job touches into art, and I'm pretty sure humans will continue preferring humans to be responsible for art rather than machines, so there will be at least *some* opportunities for work, still.
