Sorry, but I disagree with you. It's no different than picking up a camera, pushing a button and claiming copyright on that photo.
Did you know you can photograph the Mona Lisa and you own the copyright on that photo?

Just like a photographer points the camera at a subject, the AI artist points the AI generating tools at subjects through prompting, (and 100s of other parameters). The generated art is unique to that prompt, parameters, time and space. Just like a photographer's art is unique to where they point it and that exact moment in time and space.
