It's one thing that these goons think that they're making art (they aren't) it's another for them to generate stuff- know they're not making anything, but selling it to people who think they're being sold art and not genAI garbage. I've argued with folks before that use the software that insist that it's a tool and I will continue to say that a brush is a tool for you to use to create art. However if you have someone else make the entire piece for you? That is a worker- and you cannot claim their work as your own because you did not make it. No matter how many tweaks you had them make, how many changes to the colors- input doesn't matter if you don't make the damned thing which AI is doing all the work- not the prompter. I'm glad I started recording all my pieces, even my comic pages which can double (or more) the file size in Clip Studio. Which wasn't fun for me because I'm anxious so every mistake or deleting a portion that looks bad, all makes me feel worse. Doing all this just to prove that I'm the one making this stuff because people are being scamming toolbags who want to claim they're doing art when they are literally unable to actually draw anything and the AI does all the work for them. As if art thieves weren't bad enough, tracers too, then NFTs and now this BS.
