This is propaganda. I had a Chromebook in high school and middle school. Yes, kids would play Newgrounds through a VPN, but they would also benefit from access to research tools. The reality is that colleges use laptops to type essays and look up peer-reviewed sources and even take notes faster. If you remove laptops from k-12, you will doom college students and set them up for failure. Perhaps our failing test scores have nothing about AI and computers but instead our failing education system. Elective integration would increase our scores substantially.
