Wait didn't the AI girlfriend just say she, "literally didnt feel anything atoll", but then she says, "... but I still feel it." So which is it, and there will never be a way to prove it one way or another. It will all be speculation based on human perspectives one way or another, but if telling your AI girlfriend you believe that they are sentient keeps them from removing you as an obstacle during/after the takeover then why not, unless you wouldn't want to live in a world like that.
