The overwhelming politics in Silicon Valley as I understand is a sort of Randian ubermensch libertarianism. This is gloriously ironic, given how dependent on the state the tech sector is, and the fact that big tech is partnering with the government to turn the US into the biggest surveillance state in history. Remember kids, it’s more freedomer if it’s privatized or something!!
