This whole ordeal is absolutely wonderful, of course, but the fact that this Schwartz guy went back to indignantly ask ChatGPT if it had lied to him about anything else is just special. 😂
Of course, in addition to being objectively hilarious, it’s also a bit sad, if only because it seems (to me, at least) that this lawyer genuinely thought he was using Chat GPT correctly. I can easily imagine how someone - especially someone who’s not tech savvy and doesn’t really understand how computers work, let alone machine learning or A.I. - might try ChatGPT for the first time knowing nothing about it other than what they’ve heard from colleagues about how much easier it makes their job and how much of their work can be automated now. Unfortunately, he seems to have tragically misunderstood the fundamental nature of ChatGPT.
