Here’s the simple reality, the laws of physics is much more limiting than the limits of computation. Thus, no matter how advanced AI gets, robotics will likely always be the bottleneck. The way I see it, the people who will benefit the most from the AI revolution are going to be those who understand software AND hardware; i.e., the people who understand how sensors and actuators work, how they integrate with microcontrollers, and how to fix/maintain these peripherals are going to be the people who have their pick of jobs.
