Current AI is decades away from actually replacing full humans except for certain low-skill jobs and even then, its questionable:
- Not a single AI-company currently is profitable, its a massive bubble with no hope for return of investment
- The areas WHERE it could technically make money is a legal minefield due to all AI-models feeding on copyrighted material, meaning not only do the ai-creations have no copyright, the AI-companies are getting sued (look up disney and sony lawsuits, they were gathering data)
Then you got the maintenance costs, you already see the ram shortage affecting the industries, spiking prices.
Then you got the water-usage for cooling and electrical consuming, with so many companies creating AI centers.
Already AI is causing massive problems in corporations and companies are trying to roll back or have to higher freelancers for double the cost of doing it with people to begin with.
Lastly, you got regulations, boycots and outrage.
